MINISTRIES

The heart of worship is the Good News of forgiveness and salvation in Jesus Christ.
The Good News is proclaimed in Word and Sacrament through the confession and forgiveness of sins, preaching, music, the liturgy and through Baptism and Holy Communion, and by our participation in national and local outreach ministries.

In Church Ministries

Altar Guild

This ministry includes things such as preparing the altar weekly for worship, polishing vessels used in worship, pressing and preparing the vestments, arranging flowers, and much more.

Prayer Chain Ministry

The Prayer Team at Living Lord consists of volunteers who sign up to pray regularly for the world, the church, and this parish.  We take time each week to pray for those on our prayer list, and when necessary, engage with those who request specific prayers.  Prayer is the most powerful force in the world, and we recognize this.

Sarah Circle Ministry

Sarah Circle is comprised of women of our church who meet the second Tuesday of each month in the Wolfe Fellowship Hall to plan, and organize numerous activities for the church year. These activities include fundraising for our church, and fundraising for Sarah Circle which reaches out to help with donations to Lutheran World Relief, Women of the ELCA, as well as local community resource centers.
