Celebrating Miriam Hinlicky's 100th Birthday

Living Lord Luthran Church's Pastor Greg, Kristen and Jason Mills, traveled to St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Palmetto Bay, FL to celebrate the 100th birthday of LLLC member Miriam Hinlicky. Pastor Greg, Kristen and Jason attended worship at St. Thomas led by Miriam's daughter, Reverend Wynemah Hinlicky. Worship service was filled with exuberant love of Christ, the joyful music of the choir and bongos, and the sharing of a heartfelt witness of one of their church members!

After worship Miriam's birthday celebration continued in St Thomas' fellowship hall. Before a delicious meal, Pastor Greg delivered a thoughtful dedication to Miriam - including singing to her - and a beautiful prayer. Miriam's favorite dish, chicken and pasta in a white sauce, was lovingly hand-prepared by a St. Thomas husband and wife team. A roomful of friends and family sang Happy Birthday to Miriam while she was presented with a specially decorated 100th birthday cake and gifts.

Miriam admitted to being surprised by her birthday celebration and expressed her sincere gratitude and love for all of her church family.
